My Inner Child.

There's always a giggly feeling,
Deep within my mind;
A bubbly, happy, laughing thing,
I just can't keep inside.

I let my inner child out,
Even when I shouldn't.
I let it out whenever I can,
Through times both grim and serious.

I let it out in different ways,
Like teasing or silly play,
Or maybe a HUGE love I show,
For candy every day.

Sometimes it can get out of control,
And I whine and fuss about,
(But that's only when I'm sleep-deprived,
Not my usual route).

But overall I show it,
By the tiny things I do,
And sometimes, just for fun, I'll say,
"My inner child plays peek-a-boo."
