Have you ever had burnt lips?

While I was at state championships yesterday, I neglected to wear my cap so now I've got a nice pair of sunburned lips. Joyous, right?

They hurt and feel like rubber. I can't open my mouth without splitting the skin and they are now bleeding and sore. I've got some Carmex that I've been applying all day but that makes my lips have this burning sensation as it gets into the cuts.

So, as odd of a question as it is, have any of you ever had burnt lips????
